This
Pack is including useful information about living and working in
Switzerland.

Accommodation
Nothing
is more stressful than looking for a flat, if you are not yet living
in the country. Ergon Resources assists you in finding a flat (usually
furnished or an (apart)hotel) during the period of the work permit,
with due regard to your expectations of price and comfort.
c)
Registration
On
arrival, we will help you with all the procedures necessary to register,
collect your permit, and to become a legal foreign worker.
d)
Schools and Creches
An
important issue is help in finding the right school (either public
or private) for your children. The bigger cities all offer International
English schools.
e)
Health Cover and other Insurances
Ergon
Resources will give you advice on the compulsory health insurance
(all private or semi-private) and/or any other insurance you might
need.
f)
Staying in touch !
During
your stay in Switzerland, we maintain a regular contact with you
and will be meeting you on a regular basis.
g)
Various
Any
other help is available such as open a bank account, translations
or any other query you might have in your new location. Remember:
it’s the small things that make the difference !
NOTE
It
is essential to be prepared financially before going to your new
country of residence. Examples:

You may need to stay in a hotel
for a few days while looking for a flat
·
A rental deposit (usually three
months rent) when you find an apartment.
·
Foreign people need to pay a deposit
to have a telephone land line.
·
Cash in local currency for your
daily expenses until you receive your first pay.
